2. Three Levels of AI Fluency

AI fluency is broken down into three categories: AI users who leverage LLMs for velocity, AI engineers who integrate AI into existing apps, and machine learning engineers who fine-tune models.

3. The Senior-Only Market and Fake Resumes

Job openings are heavily skewed toward senior engineers while entry-level positions are scarce, prompting many candidates to use AI to generate fake senior resumes.

The software engineering job market, it's a massive cluster fuck right now. And honestly, sometimes I don't even feel like there is such thing as a job market. More like a bunch of creepy AI bots using AI generated resumes and applying to hundreds of fake AI jobs. It also seems like the only industry hiring right now, it's the Japanese porn industry. But judging by the average software engineer physic, I guess most of us will have no choice but stick to writing code.
